Ptetty good for learning words. I'm using this along duolingo and I've started new lessons on duolingo having already known some words because of this app. It has a built in SRS system which I find really useful. One of the great things about this app is that you can unlock the rest of the courses by simply learning and reviewing words. You'll also not be bothered by annoying ads. Despite how good this app is I do feel like it has flaws. Words are sometimes (maybe even most of the time?) not gendered. Grammar is non-existent. In my opinion, learning phrases/sentences seems counter-intuitive to learning a language when it doesn't teach you how to form the sentence or what each individual word means in the sentence/phrase. If some of these can be addressed this could possibly be one of the best free french learning apps in the store.

Also, we constantly add new features. So, we have a working plan, and this plan, certainly includes grammar, but that's all I can tell you for nowπBest, Claire

The new art style is so ugly and boring! Reminds me of AI advertisements, the 3D artstyle. I liked the original art, it was unique. Now it looks like it was made with generative AI, like all those 3D mental health advertisements. Really worried that this art style will get added to the other languages. I've been avoiding updating the other languages since this horrible art style update on the French one.

easy to learn from images and i love the fact that i tells you to replay what you've learnt in case you made a mistake the first time.
