Started out as a good game, but as time went on they seem to have ditched what made it good (storylines, unique quests and events, ability to reasonably earn what you want or need by working, several various troop types...), and turned it not just into a P2W, but practically into P2P, as more and more stuff essential to being competitive is behind paywalls - and EXPENSIVE paywalls at that. So unless you have quite literally THOUSANDS of dollars to spend, I wouldn't waste your time on this game.

it's fun! but there is one major flaw, to get the dragon that's offered for free, you are required to spend real money to buy the armor and weapons needed to complete the challenge and get the dragon. if you don't spend money, no matter how many times you level your keep, or your character the game will not let you beat it. it may not be pay to play, but to get what you'll need you HAVE to pay.

Early to mid game is fun, they have added new content that has nothing to do with the game that kills the experience. outside of that, playing from level 1-21 is very fun. Beyond that you will need around $18,000 in expendable income to complete the late game alone (level 35-40). This game was originally made as a "Your Kingdom, your rules" game, now it has multiple pay-walls. I recommend playing to lvl 21 then resetting on a new server.
