Super fun, but any game that has an "energy system" that makes it so you can't play when you want to is super bad for player retention. It doesn't make me want to pay for the energy to continue, it makes me want to uninstall the game and go play something else. Besides that this game is super fun and intuitive, and has a healthy balance of skill and rng.

It is difficult, if not impossible, to appreciate the variety of cards and possible synergies when there are so many to choose from. Each color has nine card slots, and there are three colors, so there are 27 slots to mess around with. Just managing that slot-by-slot is exhausting. The core gameplay loop is pretty boringāthere's a lot of waiting for things to happen when, by design, a player should already know the outcome from checking the options before making a decision. It's too disjointed.

Very fun gameplay, and I'd have given 5 stars if not for the newly implemented ads. Before, the daily card draw and free shop item were able to be redeemed immediately. Now you have to watch a lengthy ad just to do the things you did immediately before. This wouldn't bother me so much if some of the card prices weren't up to $500. It's sad because it seems scummy to me. I'm sure they'll get enough ad revenue to replace their lost in-app purchases from this, because I'm not buying anymore.
