- You will not be able to join non-Preview player’s games
- Most settings will not be preserved from the retail version of Minecraft Education
- Any worlds played in Preview will not transfer to the retail version of Minecraft Education
- Lessons from the Library will work in Preview
- Preview builds may be unstable and do not represent final version quality

Minecraft Education licenses can be purchased with Admin access to a Microsoft 365 Admin Center account. Talk to your Tech Lead for information on academic licensing.

arguably the best version of Minecraft as it is free has no minecoin has free servers the new updates unlike normal education edition and saves to the cloud and not locally like Java and bedrock Also music disks work which is nice. drawbacks are that there are very little players, you need a school account to play with and for some reason the side event bar shown when logging on says that you need to be signed in to join even though I am to my knowledge signed in. coding is also great

funny how Minecraft went from underground to too big for its britches and they walled off an entire edition of actually GOOD features as if it's some prestigious school software and not MINECRAFT. Microsoft is allergic to making good products. When they finally do, they put it behind a permanently locked gate like this game. This is literally just Bedrock with mods, let us play it already. What even is the point of all the development effort and publishing it when LITERALLY NOBODY CAN ACCESS IT?

seriously I tried so many time to add my Microsoft email yet it tell it is invalid like come-on such a a waste of time I literally tried for an hour 😭
